MISSION
JOURNEY MEN
This is a multi-faceted men's group. It consists of Bible Study, Prayer, and Adventure ... all for the glory of God!

The BIBLE STUDIES will of course consist of material gathered by various men in this group. But also, the Bible Studies will consist of materials gathered from some of the top men's Bible Studies available today in Curriculum and/or DVD formats. And also, a variety of devotionals from some powerful men of God will be utilized in this group.

The PRAYER will be real men pressing in to a real God for real results for their marriages, families, and ministry!

The ADVENTURE part of this group can include things like: fishing trips, kayaking, golfing, and more ... places where men can come together and share their testimonies and experiences of the Lord ... where men can help one another to become free in any areas where needed ... where men can come together and grow into the strong, equipped men of God they are destined to be.
God has given men a great deal of responsibility as husbands, fathers, friends, workers, and more. In each role, men are usually expected to be the leader. At the very least, there is a responsibility and obligation for men to lead their families according to God's plan. But men need to be led, too.
The focus of this men's group is to have regular times where men are surrounded by other men to: encourage them on their journey, and as well to hold them accountable (maybe a little spiritual kick at times), concerning the things of God.

This group's main goal is for men to come together to sharpen one another (Proverbs 27:17 ... Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another), and to learn to be led by the Lord on a daily basis. NAS)
What are the results we expect from a group like this? Powerful, bold, and equipped men of God, who daily love and live according to God’s word and God’s plan. Men who know who they are in Christ. Men who carry God’s glory with them wherever they journey, changing situations and atmospheres, all for the glory of God! Men of God, and men of God encounters … who get God results!
