Miracle City has GIVEN AWAY hundreds of Bibles over the past few years, to those in need. Most of the adults and children we've given Bibles to, never owned one before.

 

Who gets these Bibles? Folks who come to our church and pray a prayer of salvation for the first time, get a new Bible if they need one. Children or adults in our church (or outside our church) who don’t own a Bible can get one. We also take Bibles to nursing homes and give them out to folks who don’t have one. Basically, we want to get a Bible in the hands of anyone in need of one!

 

And, I’m not sure what excites us more … the look on the face when we give a Bible to an 80+ year old who never owned one, or when we give one to a little child. They both seem to respond the same … overjoyed and excited to start reading their new beautiful Bible. Many times, they will even hug their Bibles when we let them pick out their favorite color and style. Precious!

 

Of course, this is also always an opportunity for us to lead them to the LORD! There’s no greater joy for James and me than to see someone receive JESUS as their LORD, and then hand them a brand new Bible to go along with their brand new life!
