SOUL WINNING IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE AN OPTION

Please use the following information and scriptures, as well as our Soul-Winner Tips as guidelines and encouragement in soul-winning. God said in His Word that He is not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). Soul-winning is obviously the very heart of God. As His children we should want to do our part in leading others to Him!
John 3:3 NKJV … Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
There is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. It’s a real deal; it’s not a fairy tale. People MUST be born-again (saved) if they want to see heaven. We MUST preach the Gospel of Christ to them. And we MUST get a revelation of this!
John 4:35 NIV ... Do you not say, "Four months more and then the harvest?" I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.
John 20:21 NKJV … So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."
This web site information is by no means the only method for leading people to Jesus, but it is a beginning and a guideline to help believers win souls.
Mark 16:15,20 NKJV, AMP … And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied it. Amen.
Is every Christian supposed to be a soul-winner? Yes! ... Jesus told us to, “Go.” It’s not supposed to be an option. So, when should we “go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature?” NOW is the time to go. NOW is the time to obey Jesus.

SCRIPTURES TO STUDY - Before Stepping Out To Win Souls
Proverbs 11:30 NIV … The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.
Matthew 10:7-8 NKJV … And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Matthew 28:19-20 NIV … Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
The Great Commission
Mark 16:15-20 GNT … He [Jesus] said to them, "Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to all people. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. Believers will be given the power to perform miracles: they will drive out demons in my name; they will speak in strange tongues; if they pick up snakes or drink any poison, they will not be harmed; they will place their hands on sick people, and these will get well." After the Lord Jesus had talked with them, he was taken up to heaven and sat at the right side of God. The disciples went and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and proved that their preaching was true by the miracles that were performed.
John 20:21 NKJV … So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."
John 15:16 TEV … You did not choose me; I chose you and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And so the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name.
Romans 10:14-15 NLT … But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, "How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!"

Has the Lord empowered us to go? He definitely has.
Acts 1:8 AMP … But you shall receive power [miraculous power] (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.
John 14:12 TLB … In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father.
1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NKJV … And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
1 John 4:4 NKJV … You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Philippians 4:13 NKJV … I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Is the world really ready to listen? Yes!
Acts 28:28 TEV … And Paul concluded: "You are to know, then, that God's message of salvation has been sent to the Gentiles. They will listen!"
John 4:35 NIV … Do you not say, 'Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.
Psalm 2:8 KJV … Ask of me, and I will give thee the heathen for thy inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
2 Peter 3:9 TLB … He [the Lord] isn't really being slow about his promised return, even though it sometimes seems that way. But he is waiting, for the good reason that he is not willing that any should perish, and he is giving more time for sinners to repent.

How should I do this? Fear out - boldness in.
2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV … For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Acts 4:29-30 NLT … Now Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.

SCRIPTURES - The Need for Salvation / Jesus is the One Who Provided Salvation

The following scriptures not only give proof of the need for salvation, they also show that Jesus is the One Who purchased that salvation for us, and salvation through Him is the ONLY way to heaven.

This first scripture is a great one to memorize since its part of the prayer of salvation.
Romans 10:9-10 NIV … If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Romans 10:13 NIV … For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
John 3:16 NKJV … For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Acts 2:21 NKJV … And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Luke 19:10 NKJV … For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

This Good News tells us that God makes us ready for heaven - makes us right in God's sight - when we put our faith and trust in Christ to save us.

2 Peter 3:9 TLB … He [the Lord] isn't really being slow about his promised return, even though it sometimes seems that way. But he is waiting, for the good reason that he is not willing that any should perish, and he is giving more time for sinners to repent.
1 John 5:11-13 NIV … And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
